Not for serious walkers

Firstly, exceptional service from javari. This boot fits well but in my opinion is not for any serious kind of walking. I've had these boots for less than a year and although I have wore them frequently as I do a lot of walking, they haven't really stood up to it. They are supposed to be waterproof but I find that when walking through long wet grass, they leak in. After a couple of hours of wearing them, my feet start to ache and I feel there is not enough cushioning for longer walks. It's a pity really because they are a nice looking boot but to be honest, It's not really looks that matter, it's comfort and being dry that matters when walking. The soles are good and do tend to grip better than other boots I've had. They are also very light. I think they would be brilliant for dog walking and that type of thing.

I liked the look of these as they didn't look as 'chunky' as some of the others so decided to take a chance. Boots can be very tricky to get a good fit & judge how they will feel after a whole day on your feet. As soon as I put these on they felt great, they are substantial without the chunkiness, not too high round the ankle, light & really comfy. I ordered my usual size & they are spot on. The leather is slightly brushed so they do mark but I don't mind that.They have not had an outing in heavy wet weather yet but I'm sure they will perform as good as they feel.
